Notes: Now that¿s what I call packaging - or is it packaging at all? :-) When I ordered this from Boomkat I didn¿t realise it came in different colours - the image on the mailout was white. I was a little taken aback when I got this hideous orange, but I¿ve grown to like it - it makes the experience of playing the eery loops even more surreal. With the volume on low, the sounds gradually seep into the environment causing unsuspecting listeners a fair degree of puzzlement. It¿s a great thing, pushing the boundary between object and musical container that bit further than standard recording media. The artists¿ website makes the loops contained on the buddha machine available for download, along with much detail on the various events and projects prompted by its existence. Brilliant.
