Explosion on the Moon Caught on Video!: “Here’s something you don’t see every day: the BBC is reporting that Nasa scientists have witnessed a rare explosion on the Moon, caused by a meteoroid slamming into it. The blast, equal in energy to about 70 kg of TNT, occurred near the Sea of Rains)on Nov. 7, 2005, when a 12-centimeter-wide meteoroid slammed into the ground traveling 27 km/s.
